The project received financing for script writing from Sodec (independent sector).
In the 90's, a young twenty something actor is chosen to play a gay character, the lead in a feature film. At first very enthusiastic about it, his fascination for the character turns into panic as the shooting of the more explicit scenes are getting closer. The producer manages to make him come back to the set after he threatened to quit, but once the shooting is completed, he becomes more and more violent, even trying to stop the the film from being released. Confronted with his own homophobia, he tries to commit suicide, but is saved by the director at the last minute. Months later, when the film is released, in an ironic twist, his talent is noticed by the media and the critics who praise his courage for having taken this groundbreaking role. He suddenly forgets all his hang-ups and bathes with pleasure in this new found celebrity.
